Student Development Leaders

Fellows

The Student Initiative Fellows are young, future leaders in development.

The Student Initiative is run by these student Fellows, who work with development organizations and on academic and professional development ventures at universities and around the world. So far, Fellows have worked in India, Zimbabwe, Vietnam and many other countries as well as out of their university towns.

The Student Initiative Fellows are encouraged and facilitated to contribute to international development through The Student Initiative on a constant basis. When working with third-party organizations through The Student Initiative, Fellows are required to follow the rules of the involved organizations.

We believe that students can have a big impact and that development should be a viable career option for the brightest.

To make sure that our Fellows can have a real impact, we implement a competitive application process and target specific students directly.

Unsuccessful applicants are always encouraged to re-apply at a later date.

All university students are encouraged to reach out to The Student Initiative as well as raise awareness about the organization and its mission.

Current Fellows come from Harvard University, Stanford University, Columbia University, McGill University, the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and many other leading universities.
