Student Development Leaders
Charities Aid Foundation is a charity that connects donors to causes they wish to support in effective and efficient ways, thus providing a crucial link between charities and their donors. It also takes on problems faced by charities in their funding and financing needs, by offering tailored solutions across banking, investments, fundraising and social investment.
To support their work, CAF would like to conduct some research on the topic of Crowd Funding. The charity aims to get a better idea of the existing online crowd-funding websites, and this is where you can play a part in supporting the work of the organisation. The research should provide:
The researcher (or researchers, if a team is formed) will be required to work remotely. He will also be required to communicate regularly with Paul Cheng, Head of CAF Venturesome, who will be overseeing the research’s progress, as well as representatives from The Student Initiative. The researcher should be able to provide regular updates on his research to CAF, and The Student Initiative.

Application and Selection Procedure:
Application Procedure: Students will provide a motivational letter and a CV to info@thestudentinitiative.org
The Student Initiative will isolate the top 1-3 candidates to conduct the research. In the event that more than 1 candidate is chosen, The Student Initiative will introduce the researchers to each other, and to the Head of CAF Venturesome. The researcher(s) will then communicate with CAF to work out various details, including the timeline for the research work.
